If google and manufacturer website are of no help then ask a driver search engine like http://manualfox.com/driver.htm - They do a great job. The service is not for free, but often worthy (you only pay if they find what you are asking for).

Download the Chipset drivers. Download them by your computer manufacturer's website.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Chipset drivers.

You need to go to the website for the maker of you computer, find the section where "drivers" are available for download (often under a tag named "support") then find the audio driver for your model and operating system (in your case XP), download the file and simply run it. You should not need to do any more than that to fix this problem. In the old days it was recommended to un-install faulty software (drivers) first, but audio driver installation in XP on a modern laptop should just go on with no complications.

go to the web site of your computer manufacturer or audio card vendor to look and download the sound card/audio driver. If you use a laptop, try to also make sure you install the available modem driver if applicable and the last video driver. You can also go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111 to downlooad the audio patch from Microsoft

Tell me website for Motherboard Sound Drivers for

Your motherboard's Sound Driver is Realtek High Definition, you can download it from this link http://www.download3k.com/MP3-Audio-Video/Encoders-Decoders/Download-REALTEK-High-Definition-Audio-Driver.html But this isn't only the required driver to run your sound card there's another driver called UAA bus driver for high definition audio. If you haven't installed it, you can do it from here; http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/OTHER-SOUNDCARDS/Microsoft-UAA-Bus-Driver-for-High-Definition-Audio.shtml. You have to install the UAA bus driver before you install the Sound driver, otherwise your sound card will not be detected. Good luck
