was the cord connected to a surge protector?
If no, you should get a new one.

Running the computer with a non-functional fan can damage the unit. Most likely the processor is what is damaged since their temperature get ridiculously high when the fan is not functional. This may be repairable with a mobo / processor replacement at your local computer shop, but after all that you may be better off just buying a new one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Display Driver is troublesome.

Contact Service Point and they'll reinstall the Display Driver for you.

Find the screws (usually under those sticky rubber feet), unscrew, and unsnap. I would be careful, its easy to mess up the insides... Good luck!
