These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look
3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

I have exactly the same problem with the blue, red and green misaligned and the screen is concaved. It is a RCA D52W19. It failed this morning. It will only show a black screen. I noticed the problem when I went to the menu to set the convergence and it was not in the menu options anymore.
Had a TV repair man here and he call RCA for help, He's still waiting and getting the runaround. NO help anywhere. FED-UP
my rca 52inc has a 3d image look and slowly sinks towards the middle in a ribbion like fashion. how can i fix?
