I assume your laptop is Aspire 5610z.
try to check in device manager first.
is your camera is detected in device manager ? it should be under imaging device.
if it not detected, mean something wrong with your camera.
if it is detected, checked the manufacture.
if it is microsoft, it's mean wrong driver. it should be bison, suyin or logitect. in this case try to install the correct driver.
