go to nav settings...then language....then you will see tts option select samantha she is english tts.

You can reset your DVD recorder by:
Making sure that the recorder is on and that the disc tray is empty
Using the front panel controls, press and hold STOP and press STANDBY/ON.
The recorder will turn off and all settings will be re-set.

My AVIC-D1 navigation system has froze up. I can,t get any audio or visual. What shall I do?

Hi,

Initially, have you tried a full hard reset? If not, pls unplug from the mains. Most current devices would reset and revert back to factory default settings (assuming no internal hardware fault) when unplugged for a considerable period of time (from a few minutes to a couple of hours). Of course doing a hard reset erases all glitches as well as user settings and configurations.

Pls post back for any development(s) or even the lack of it.
