OR which Microsoft Office Suite should I load? 2007 or 2008?

Do a "Complete" install - the next screen should give you the chance to select the items that you want to have installed on the computer.

Click on each one that you DO NOT want - select "Entire feature will be unavailable" - and leave Word alone.

Continue the Install process and only Word will be installed.

Good luck.

Word

Thank you for your question.

Windows Vista is an Operating System that allows you to interact with the computer.

Microsoft Word is a part of "Microsoft Office" which a productivity suite produced by Microsoft and is seperate from the Operating System. It needs to be installed once the Operating System is in place.

Kind regards

I use windows vista i need to use Office 2003 or 2007.

Hi,
Both office 2003 and 2007 are compatible . It would be nice if you install office 2007 as it has loads of new features. Its even more convenient to work in.

Thanks

M S Office suite

Yes you do have to. Windows only sells one copy per computer, not per a customer. They have the legal right to do so because of copyright laws. For more information refer to the legal notice and terms of use that came with the copy that you have purchased.

Product key

Usually for laptops that come bundle with Windows Vista, there is only a 30-60 day trial of Office 2007 and not the full version. So unless stated otherwise, there will be no product key for Office 2007 with the laptop and you will need to buy Office 2007.
