I want to know how would i be able to make animations play in the back ground as my music is playing or some type of picture or visual..Some one told me it was possible i just dont know how...Any suggestions?

reset it,try with out the remote and change the remote battery,put in dvd wait for the blue screen,then press stop 2x then enter 1264 then,if you have a up,down,l/r control on the deck press down 1x then press play,you dont even have to use the ground wire then go to the rest, when you can see the menu,i dont know if it will work but u can give it a try
pull the head unit and see if any wires are exposed, mainly checking the ground positive and the memory wires, make sure they are covered, and make sure that if they arnt covered that you make sure they arnt touching any metal. also check your fuse in the back, it might be blown (i highly doubt that it is, because the screen retracted when it shut off). if none of these is the problem, then you might have to go buy a new head unit.
Wow! That's a first. I used to sell both the Jensen AND Phase Linear versions and never a problem. It sounds like a bad unit. You say it plays NOTHING? No CD's OR DVD's that are the factor made?
The only thing I hav up my sleeve is to do a reset on the unit. If it has a button (I don't think it does frm what I remember) use it first, then with the unit ON, unplug the poer plug, wait a few, then plug back in and see.
There is a pink wire that goes to the parking brake. It connects to the ground wire on the parking brake that makes the brake light come on the instrument panel.
connect the pink wire on your stereo to a frame ground.
