You could try a lumber/electrical store, or from the manufacturer.

Need a hinge pin for hinge opposite the handle it is broken

Buy a new waffle maker. I have the same problem. Got by with one broken hinge for a few years, but now the 2nd is broken. Called the company & there are no replacement parts available (looks like the hinge was a common problem). After looking around online, I'm not able to track anything down.
I've personally narrowed my choices down to:
The Caphalon No Peek Round Waffle Maker
Proctor-Silex 26500Y Belgian Waffle Maker
Black & Decker Chrome Belgian Waffle Maker WMB505
Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker

Can't find my owner's manual ... how do you take the waffle plates off to convert to a grill?

Not certain if you're still interested in this, but there should be one spring clip on the top and one on the bottom which hold the plates in place.

One is located on the bottom, near the right side of the hinge.

This is the one on the bottom. Sorry about the image quality, but the limitation of 100K means I cannot get a much larger or clearer image.

This is the spring clip which holds in the bottom plate. Note that it is near the hinge in the rear of the unit, right-hand side.

This is the little clip in the front (there is one on the top and the bottom near the handles) which actually holds the front of the plate firm to the unit. This clip does not move, but it is necessary to get the plate under this clip, before securing the back with the spring clip.

I hope this helps. Note that you should be careful not to damage the non-stick surface when you work with the plates.

We had one of the screws that hold the lid on the waffle maker break and fall off on the first use. Do you kno wwhere we get a new screw?

try to do an exchange at where you got it from. If you are unable to I would go to Home Depot and match it up rather than wait 4-6 weeks to get one from Black and Decker

Only one side of waffle maker will cook

Sounds like either cord that passes power from one side to the other at the hinge had broken, or the heating element in the side not getting hot has failed.

There is no easy way to repair either of these problems without strong knowledge of making repairs to high temperature wiring.

The plastic part on the back hinge broke and i

This just happened to ours, it's a design flaw in my opinion.

Anyway, I drilled through the plastic covers and used 4 6-32 countersink screws, 2 inches long, with corresponding nuts and ground off the excess screws with a dremel tool.

Won't come apart again and matches the brushed stainless theme.

Volvo 2002 s60 fuel door

My guess is that the hinge clips are broken - it's hard to see how it works after the clips are broken off. I purchased and installed a replacement hinge from Myswedishparts.com. I emailed asking for help and they provided direction, but it's pretty easy. Use a small punch to drive the centers out of the plastic attachement pins to get the old hinge off. Replace the hinge, press the center pins in and re-attach the door. There was a drawing on the referenced web site when I replaced mine, but I just looked and didn't see it. I'm sure there are many places to purchase the replacement hinge - that's just where I bought mine.

Cuisinart Classic Round Waffle Iron

The screw that holds the metal cover to the grid is hidden under the black Cuisinart piece on the top. There are 4 ears which lock it down. I'm not sure the best way to get them open, as I broke mine opening it. Looks like if you take a metal putty knife, and push toward the hinge from the handle, at the end of the radius at each side, it may pop off for you. The other two are about 3/4" off the back of the piece, and should get out of the way as you lift the front.

Now, does anyone know where to get a replacement black cuisinart piece?

Proceed at your own risk, this information is worth what you paid for it, and I broke mine in the process.
