Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Incoming call how to adjust the volume of my ear piece...i cannot hear the voice of the person im talking to I can barely hear a thing with my earpiece. I can hear with the speaker phone on and now have to use it all the time. The volume on the earpiece says it is set to 7 but it sounds like it is set on 1.

    My phone works fine for everything else, but the earpiece is not working at all.

Seems your ear speaker has a problem. It need to be changed.

SOURCE: incoming call

During a call press the volume buttons on the left side of the screen. The volume buttons are those that seem like a large button but actually these are 2 depending on what side you press.

First of all make sure the volume is high. Try talking in speakerphone mode. If you can hear in speaker phone mode, then your ear piece might be not working.

I have a problem with 6610i set that I can't able to hear other person's voice -
This sounds like the speaker in your handset which transmits sound to your ear is either faulty or turned down. Check the volume on your handset is set to max.

If the speaker in the handset is faulty - to trouble shoot this try using a handsfree kit which plugs in to the bottom of the phone and if the ear piece works correclty on a call through the handsfree eairpiece then your phone may have a fault.

if you have tried raising the volume while on a call and you still have the same trouble then I'm afraid your earpiece has failed and you will need to take it to a tech and have the earpiece replaced

Motorola Razr v3 stuck in mute mode. Finally find mute switch during a call, turn it off , says mute off with green arrow and then it reverts back to mute! No idea how phone got stuck on mute! Impossible to get mute to go off. Made a call & got the mute setting to finally come up & I turned it off - it says mute off, green arrow shows. Then it reverts to mute again!
