My PC has no video with the XFX FX5200 plugged. If I unplug the Video Card and Starting my PC with the integrated Graphics then the PC works Well (Video OK).

The Video Card Looks Good Visually.

Un install the video card and remove any software that came with it including the drivers, then reboot. Install JUST THE DRIVERS and none of the extra software. Then hook up the video card and make sure you have your BIOS set to accept the video card I.E. VGA or PCI depending on what kind you have.

Xfx video card stop displaying on monitor. I use xfx motherboard connector instead and display is OK

This is a BIOS problem, you have to boot to BIOS config menu, do it by pressing f1 or f2 or f10 on boot splash screen, browse the menus and find an option like 'init display first' or something like that, set it to Pcie or AGP, depending on your motherboard, reboot and voila!, have a nice day

Screen goes totally black

It sounds like one of your ram chips is having a problem and needs to be replaced. If not then your motherboard is having a problem accessing both slots and this indicates a bios issue. Try downloading a bios upgrade for your motherboard if replacing the chips doesn't help as this cannot create some serious issues if you do it wrong. I would suggest you get a single 512 or 1gb ram chip instead of 1 or 2 256 chips as the price difference is minimal. Hope this helps.

Fx 5200 geforce graphic card

You did not mention if the board your running has an integrated video card on it. If it does & you have added the FX 5200 AGP you need to make a change in your bios. Set the bios to see AGP. Re-check the insertion of the AGP card. Remove the video card. Use a strong flash light & look into the AGP slot. Use canned air & blow out the AGP slot. Re-seat the video card evenly into the AGP slot. Try again.

GRAPHICS CARD

I suggest XFX GeForce 8500 GT 512MB DDR2 PCI Express video card. No need for an upgrade & it has a lifetime warranty. The price is great! Your Asus P5VDC will run it. Here is the link:

GeForce MX4000 just installed it on my Gateway, when monitor pluged into card jack it dosen't work when I plug it into the gatway monitor jack the Mx4000 works but graphics look as if its running in...

Your new video card might be bad. Or you just might need to reseat your new card, might have a bad connection. Not sure how new your BIOS is? You might need to change a setting in your BIOS to stop using the on-board video.

My BIOS auto detected my video card, but your BIOS might not be that up-to-date.
