Rings as long as power cord is plugged in

When I was going to change the batteries I inadvertently hit some combination of buttons and now the phone rings constantly when the power cord is plugged in. Is there a reset or cancel button to un-program whatever I did?

The problem is that your phone now has the same intercom number as one of the other phones you have connected to your system.

Press #
Enter 2 digits (11 through 22)
Press Intercom. After a successful assignment you will hear a confirming ring.

MODEL LT2016U WONT BOOT UP

Is it trying to boot up or is it doing absolutely nothing when you plug in the power cord and hit the power button?

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of thepower cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.

Problem with att cordless phone wont ring

First, check the wirings (power cord and phone cord). Are they properly plugged in to their outlets (power outlet and phone jack, respectively)? Have you tried plugging in another phone? Does it ring? If yes, it could be your phone system, if not, let's try this troubleshooting steps. This is one of the basic troubleshooting steps for cordless phones. Unplug the battery from the phone/s, unplug the power plug from the main base unit. Wait for 10-15 seconds and plug everything back in. First the batteries then the power plug.

When i am attaching hands free the outgoing call is activating automatically what can i do

I have done this on my ittle LG flip; I realized I was inadvertantly pressing the auto-dial while I was inserting the phone into cage & closing gap; had no idea why phone was ringing!!! Check all the buttons on both sides of phone; check what happens when you press each button....OR, go back to your User Manual & be sure you arent in an auto dial mode.
Alternately, you may be hitting a one touch dial; check for this by going into the Menu, then Settings, then something that looks like Dialing Match or Set Speed Dial; if it indicates something similar to ^auto dial last number^ then you can resove this by changing that setting. The best way to play with this & not be calling anyone is to remove your SIM card first (remove battery & slide the little card out); most phones will still power up, they just cannot connect any calls & the SIM has your directory info only, not the phone menu.
All the best, I hope some of this helps, and have a safe, happy holiday season.

Phone won't ring with incoming calls

I just bought a new Uniden DECT 6.0 phone and had a similar problem. It wouldn't ring when plugged into my Linksys voip router, but my old 5.8 GHz did ring. It would get a dialtone and make calls, but when called via an outside line, it would appear as if it was ringing. If I picked up during this "silent ring," it would answer and take the call. It wasn't a ringer volume issue. I called tech support, they said on the main headset, unplug the battery, then unplug power from the base, then unplug the phone cord from the base. Wait 15-30s. Plug the phone cord, then power, then reinstall the battery. Press the End button on the phone. Put the phone on the base for 15-30s. Pick up the phone. Press and hold the Find button on the base. Do this Find thing 3 times. Put the phone back on the base. Wait 10-15 minutes. Then try calling it to see if it rings. Worked for me, finally got it to ring before I decided to return it.
