Need assistance please can you help me i have gotton all what is needed for my Nokia phone to connect to my Nokia pc suite but yet it does not recognize the phone.it says it cannot authenticate the phone.i think is should be the chinese model of nokia so which pc suite can i use thanks sikod

For your driver need, you may just install Nokia PC Suite, where it installs the driver and other necessary software, including the software needed for you to use the phone as an internet device.

just go to that link, install the software, and you are set. Please do not connect the USB data cable to the PC yet, until the software installation is finished. After all has been installed just plug the USB data cable in the PC and the phone, and follow the instructions on-screen.

If your phone is restarting you need to flash your phone



(formating delete all data including messages,contacts,etc... So i suggest you to back up all the files before formatting You can back up file using Nokia PC suit) To back up your files *Install the Nokia PC suit *open Nokia PC suit >Select Back up
To restore Backed up data *Open PC suit>Tools tab>Restore>Select Restore>select a restore point(restore point is file in which all data's are saved)>Ok and wait for 5-10 mins.

To flash you need
*USB cable compatible with your handset *A Computer *Nokia PC suite of your handset *Internet connection(Min speed 1Mbps) *Nokia software updater(you can download by using Nokia PC suit)
To flash *Install the PC suite *Connect to USB *Open the PC suit *Select UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE(dowload the Nokia Software updater by selecting this option) *Install the "NOKIA Software Updater"*Select Update**....(It takes 10-30 Mins)
**Please don't disconnect while updation process.

Flash resets security code to 12345.



If your phone is switching of you need lock the battery correctly by putting a piece of paper.
or you need to change battery.

To connect your phone using bluettoth, you need the following things.
1) Nokia PC Suite
2)Bluetooth dongle with the driver installed.

Things to be done on pc side :
1. give your host bluetooth name
2. find BTCOM port
My Computer->My Bluetooth Places->right click my device->Local Services->Bluetooth Serial Port
Things to do on phone side :
1. give your phone bt name
then install pc suite and modem tool (if necessary)
restart computer

For pairing :
1. add device
host: go to My Bluetooth Places->Add new connection
phone: go to bluetooth, choose Paired Devices->add
2. provide passkey (4-digit, 0-9 only) on both

Hi,
You can copy the contacts to the PC easily....But to other phones it tough since you don't have the display.
Contacts to PC:
You should first have Nokia PC-suite for it.
If you don't have, download the PC-suite from here
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/pc-suites/compatibility-and-download

Now connect the Phone with nokia PC-suite using the USB cable.
Since you don't have the display.Press OK (because internally the phone asks for the PC-suite connection)You need to say ok for it.
You can see two options in Nokia PC-suite.
1)Content copier:
2)Nokia PC sync:

using thes two methods you can copy the contacts now:
Content copier: Click on it and follow the screen step by step and save the contacts in PC
Nokia PC sync: Sync the contacts with outlook.Follow the screen accordingly and save the contacts in excel sheet.

Not able to connect ur phone. Thats Wierd.
well connect ur data cable to pc & phone. when u do so, u'll get options on ur phone like
1. PC Suite Service
2. Mass Storage & all..
select PC suit service & then its done.
but for PC suite service, u need nokia pc suit on ur pc too..

nokia pc suite installed in windows 98 will identify the phone after connecting the data cable

there is a universal pc suite provided by nokia

you may use that,it works all nokia mobiles
