Downloading from memory card (IXUS 75)

After 6 months of good service, now when I download from the memory card, my pictures are either misaligned and with stripes across them, or sometimes various colours - yellow, red. Is it the card, the camera or the laptop that's at fault.?

Try doing the following to see if you can isolate the problem:

- Clean the metal contacts on the card with a soft cloth
- Reformat the card
- Try connecting the camera to the computer with a different cable
- Try putting the card in a card reader and copying the files from there
- Check if the photos are displayed correctly on the camera
- Try copying the photos to another computer
- Try copying the photos without using the software (connect camera - it will show up as an external drive in My Computer, double click on icon and browse to photos)

If none of these work then the camera may be broken.

My canon digital camera ixus 75 card is locked how to procedure to unlock

Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How to download pics from Canon ixus 75 to my new desktop

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Canon's ZoomBrowser or any other photo cataloging program.

Canon ixus 75 how do you clear the memory card of pictures once its full

1) Select "View" on your camera
2) Select menu - page through until you come to Erase. You then should have an option to either erase frame or erase all.

3) You can also use the format option, that will also clear all data off you card.

If you don't have the instructions, I'd recommend you go to the Canon website, follow links for support and downloads, entering your camera details as you go and download a copy of the user manual/guide.

My memory card keep on showing "memory card error". how can I save my pictures in that memory?

You could use a separate card reader to download your pics. Then, format the card in the camera.

Downloading from camera...window

You probably can't. The best solution is to get a separate card reader and download to a folder you create on your desktop.

Are you using a memory card or internal memory? If you are using a memory card, get a memory card reader and download the images onto your comp.

I have a canon sd 750 have been using it for 4 months now, but yesterday the screen went black i can see the old picturs i took but cant take any new pictures all the new pictures i take are black the LCD...

YOUR PROBLEM MAY BE SIMPLE. IF YOU ARE USING THE ORIGINAL MEMORY CARD THAT CAN INSTALLED IN YOUR CAMERA THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THIS CARD IS JUST FULL AND HAS NO ROOM FOR ANY OTHER PICTURES. THE STANDARD CARD FOR THE SD-750 IS A 32MB-SD MEMORY CARD THAT WILL HOLD APRX. 20 PICTURES AT A NORMAL JPEG 3072 X 1728 MPIXEL RATING. YOU MIGHT TRY EITHER DOWNLOADING THE ONBOARD PICTURES TO CLEAR THE MEMORY, OR INSTALL A NEW HIGHER CAPACITY SD CARD. I WOULD RECOMMEND A 4 GIG CARD. THIS SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, PLEASE REPLY TO ARCLIGHT 1217. GOOD LUCK! IT THIS IS HELPFUL, PLEASE VOTE! THANKS!
