I need an instruction manual for a Bushnell Banner Astro 280 D=60 mm F=700mm model 78-5500 Made in aoc. It is an old telescope and was sold without an instruction manual. I looked on the Bushnell site for the book but the name or model was not listed. I think it is at least 20 years old. Can you help me?

You will not find that manual. They all assemble and are used in the same way. Find a manual that is similar to your scope and use it.

This is aperture (front diameter) 60mm and focal length 700mm, a typical telescope of its size. It is probaly a 80AZ model. An instructional video is here

You will not find a manual for that telescope which is sold by Toys R Us. However Meade and Bushnell both maintain web sites with all of their telescope manuals--- here:
