Maytag Ice20 freezer door handle fell off on one side

I had the same thing happen with my freezer door on my Ice20 as well. You need to look inside the hole on the inside of the handle on the end that has come off. There will be a loose screw head sitting in there. You need to get that out and screw it back into the hole in the freezer door. Then, place the handle back on top of the screw that you just put in. Make sure the screw head is sitting properly inside the hole in the handle and the handle is flat to the door where it should be. Now, using a small set of allen keys, find the one that fits in the tiny hole on the underside of the handle. There is a little thread in the hole and you need to use the allen key to turn the thread until it puts pressure on the screw. This keeps the handle on. I was able to fix my door with a 40 cent allen key. Hope this helps!

How to change an ignition switch in a 68 chevy pickup truck

turn switch to off position. with a straightened out paperclip insert in small hole in face of ignition switch near where you put the key in. With the clip in place turn the key counterclockwise, after it turns pull straight out on the key, the entire lock cylinder should come out if you have done everything correctly. Once the lock is out unscrew the chrome ring that holds the switch in the dash. Put in new switch, install chrome ring and tighten. Push lock cylinder in and turn clockwise, it should lock in.

The machine is not spinning or tumbling, i went through the diagnostic test and that was the only thing it did not do. my understanding is that it is a belt that should be the problem how do i get at it?

I have the same washer and problem. I've had mine for just over five years with no problems, but I've had other top loading washers for as many as 12 years. I solved the problem with the Kenmore 44042 as follows:

1. Remove the washer from the laundry room and move it to the garage.
2. Go to Lowe's and purchase a Roper top loading washer for $300.
3. Install the new Roper in place of the Kenmore 44042.
4. Create and sign an agreement with yourself to never purchase another Kenmore product.

How do I replace the ignition switch on a 1999 chevrolet suburban? After the key is placed in the ignition switch, the key becomes very hard to turn and activiate the starter. I ''jiggle'' the key, turn...

you have to take the steering column cover off and then find the little hole near the ignition tumblers. you put the key in and turn it forward one or two clicks, find a small screw driver and push the little pin in the hole. that is what holds the tumblers in place. the ignition should slide out .

Ignition lock cylinder replacement

The key doesn't turn at all. Not even one click!!! the tumblers are completely jammed. I also just bought the Bently service manual but they don't offer a solution to my problem. I have been searching the web for days and at this stage I know I have only one of two solutions: to drill a small hole where the entry for the pin should be if the key would've turned, then use a pin to remove it; or drill straight through the center of cylinder to destroy the lock tumblers and then turn it to line up with the pin hole, and use the classic method to remove it. Before I attemp either, I need to know if anyone tried them and which one will work better or work at all? I already ordered a new cylinder from dealer so the problem is in removing the old one. Help please.
