The recorder was not used for a while. All functions work well except rewind and cue.

Crosley turn table is not spinning. Tried replacing belt and moving cue lever to right then left. Think it might be the arm or cue lever. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is or a solution?

Since it is new, you should probably return for refund or exchange.
My guess would be it is the micro switch controlled by the arm.
Make sure the power is turned on and the unit's function selection is set on PHONO and then gently move the tone arm to the right until you hear a "click". Remove any cassettes that might be in the cassette player. Lift the tone arm and carry it over to the beginning of the record.

How do I get the Autocue function to work on the Technics SL-D202 direct drive turntable?

Hi,
When you say that the auto cue does not function properly,do you mean that the arm will not lift from the rest onto the record or do you mean that the set down point of the arm on the record is not correct? Or does it not work at all?

Philips 720 transcription machine won't erase tapes - no previous problems encountered carrying out this function with the machine.

Hello Press the PLAY and REWIND keys at the same time the LCD display shows the fast rewind symbol together with an S to indicate that the tape is being erased backward. The erase function continues until either the beginning of tape is reached or another function is selected. if this does not work Send an email to [email protected] or call (800) 644-9525. Please indicate model, serial and detailed description of problem

What is the cue/f play/erase button on the top

When in RECORD, pressing the 'Cue' button will put a tone on the tape. This is used on the transcriber's machine to identify different jobs and such.

When in PLAY, pressing the 'F Play' button will change the playback speed to 1.5.

If you hold the 'ERASE' button and hold the portable in REWIND, it'll erase the tape while it's rewinding.

Hope this helps...

Cdj-500ll cue button repair

the faulty button will not stop it from playing well... replacing them is not hard so long as you have some experience with a soldering iron.
Clean the laser lens with a cotton bud wet with windex... then use a dry one to be sure no residue is left. If it still mistracks... new optics required!. You willl need a pioneer service agent to do this for you. A little complex for the first timer :)
