The part you are describing should be able to be removed, but we would recommend that an authorized servicer perform this. You may find assistance in scheduling service at our customer service web site: http://www.jennair.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/customerservice/

I have a JennAir Model JES9860BAS and the oven don't work

Well it probably is a faulty control but before ya blow any money on an oven control check the oven sensor. If it is open or grounded to the frame then the control cannot read the voltage sent through the oven sensor and know to shut down.

Very simple I thought- Cleaning the inside of the glass on oven.

Don't have one here at home to look at, but the best way to go about that would be to remove the door from the range to work on in on a table, allowing access to any screws at the bottom of the door for disassembly and easier reassembly. To remove door: open oven door. Use a small screwdriver to poke in the small rectangular hole on the hinge and flip down the little lever toward the door. It is mostly hidden at the top of the rectangular hinge opening in the range frame. (do both hinges) Now with the levers down (locking the door hinge) you can lift and pull the door a bit, removing the door and hinge in one unit from the range body. Sounds more difficult than it is. It really only takes 10 seconds. To replace the door, just reverse procedure, remembering to flip the little levers back up after attaching door to range frame.

Broken inside glass door on my electric KitcherAid glass top range

sounds like you may have thermal breakage. does your oven have the self-clean option? you can have the glass replaced easily. i wouldn't use the self-clean option for now.

Jenn-Air Gas-Electric Grill Ranfe with Convection Oven M# SVD48600

if possible, squat down in front of the range and put your ear as close to the bottom of the control panel/top of the door when you close it. there is a small motor that pulls the door in when you use the self-cleaning function. perhaps that motor is running all the time? its quite, more of a humm. this could explain why its locking itself. other than that, my convection oven JennAir has a small fan in the back that runs when the oven is on, regular or convections mode. you can see this fan squirel cage in the back wall of the oven. if you were to pull the range out, you will notice (atleast on mine) that there is another much smaller fan on the backside of the range behind the removable metal panel. what the smaller fan is for, i have no idea. so there are two fans, plus if you have the down draft feature, thats 3 total. hope this helps somehow.

Clean Oven Door Glass

To remove oven door:
1. The oven door is held to the oven door hinges by two
screws. (One in each hinge.)
2. To remove the oven door remove the two screws.
Two screws
3. Close the door to the broil stop position and lift up.
then remove the door handle and take out all the screws around the edges of the door and pull the out side cover from the inner but a word of caution there are about three or 4 pieces of glass they are tempered and about 100 bucks a piece and most times they wont get real clean and will get messy again
