Dear Sir, My name is D.Narasimha Rao, I am using view sonic monitor VA 1918 wm-2, Model Number : vs 12085, Serial Number R18083510529 from last 1 year and 9 months. My monitor problem is power light glowing but after 15 or 30minits display in not shows, data & power cables are fine, please give me the guid lines about my monitor.

If what you are saying is that the power light of the monitor glows one color, then turn another color after several minutes, this means that the monitor has gone into standby mode. If this occurs without the monitor even turning on to display a picture, then it could be that you need a new video card. Try a different monitor to see if your get the same results, if you do, then that's a sign that the video card needs to be replaced.

I would replace the cable that connects the monitor to the computer. If that doesn't fix the problem then return the product, it should still be under warranty.

Hi,
Let the unit cool down for 30 min., give proper ventilation because your processor have a heat sensor, once reached the peak temp the unit will automatically shuts off. Keep away all the obstruction from your vent.
Let me know if the symptom is still there...

Sound on the View Sonic Monitor

Yes, they are on the front of the screen. There should be a volume up and down button right on the front (usually to the left of the power). If there isn't a separate up and down, try the Menu or 1 and 2 buttons.
