Are you sure the switch is bad if it is physical probem easy to see. if it is not then you need a multi meter to ohm it out. You most likley will not find the original switch but maybe you can get a generic switch and you might have to modify it.here are place you can get switches

If you can jump it at the switch and get it to start, then the ignition relay must be working. It is hard to tell from your post but I think you are using power from another source to do this? I am thinking you have a blown fuse on the wire the furnishes power to you ignition switch.
This can be caused by a couple of things, but the most common cause is a bad door lock swtch. It can be either side, but usually the problem is the switch on the driver's side.
Swtch on with pause key depressed and wait for the power and online leds blinks and error led off.
To cahnge from thertransfer or direct printing mode depress feed and pause spontaneoulsy.
By depresing feed the self test is printed
Check the blower motor relay, usually located under the hood in a box, also check the fuse in the fuse panel for the blower motor. If both of those are good then you have a bad blower motor.
following this instruction, 1.remove the white rubber ontop the power botton. 2.find a metal that can touch both edges of the tip where the power botton was removed from (positive -positive). 3.your phone will come on then you can enjoy your phone without switch botton.
Soledoid at transfer case unpluged or defective on board swith..Check contacts with voltage tester at switch first... power in? power when swtch on? Go to soledoid under veh. at case
set the beamer off, unplug the power line, press -on-/input/menue at the same time and plug the beamer to the power line again thereafter you can remove your fingers from the below mentioned buttons. now the lamp counter should be reseted to 0 hope this helps it works on a TDP-T100
that means you have an aftermarket alarm previously installed have it remove from the car or try to find the swtch under the dash to unarm the alarm manually
all you have to do is locate the swtch and whit the ignition on turn the swicch ones and that's it the switch must to be small some where under the dash but if you can't find it just have some autorepair remove your ald alarm system
