Question about LG LS-L1210CL Mini Split Air Conditioner

I have C7 error on an LG 9000 heating and cooling unit new installation. I dont have a manual to help with the code. Please Help

Same problem here. Indoor comes on, outdoor fan goes on but not comp. Does not even hum. Replaced cap anyway, alarm led is on and gives n quick beat every 3 seconds. The fan amps are not measured so does not matter and even if speed is too slow the comp should come on for a while until hp is too high and draws too high current.

C7-Split compressor over current. Check condenser. If full of dust, clean it. Check rpm of fan motor. If less rpm replace capacitor.

According to page 24 of your owner's manual, the E1 error is indicative of a short circuit in the Indoor Air Thermistor. The unit will likely require service.

Most likely the heat exchanger has build up in it, the unit will need to be flushed with descaler. But refer to the owners manual or behind the cover of the unit to confirm the error code. Good luck.

with the Lmu24 you have a variable speed compressor i wouldn't suggest attacking this repair on you own, get a Nate certified Sr. service tech out there and have them do cause your taking about high end cutting edge compressor technology, how ever if you need them i can email you a pdf copy of both owners and service manual.

I could not find a "fault code" list for the LA125HV but for thier Multi Split Units LG lists code CH7 (C7) as "Indoor Unit is Set in Different Cool/Heat Operation Mode." So maybe your air-handler tihinks it's in Heat mode will the compressor is in Cool mode, or vice-versa....

Error c7

You can reset the C7 code, hold down 0&8 power machine up. Then push 87 & print, change the number to 0 with number keys press interupt key, then press 0&9 @ the same time to exit. This should clear the C7. Let me know if you need more help.
