Usually this is a hardware acceleration setting problem on the 'advanced' properties setting in your 'screen resolution' properties on your computer. Re-set the hardware acceleration to the 2nd setting and this should fix your issue. We have this regularly when we project on a double projector system and the one projector keeps shifting everything left until we adjust the hardware acceleration settings on the computer. No more issue.
first swap out the source cable. if the problem persists, reset the settings to factory default. if the problem still persists, your colorwheel may be bad.
if it only has a blue tint when the computer or video is hooked up, reset the settings to factory default and replace the cables. if the splash screen (when it says "infocus") has the blue tint, one of the light filters are fried due to excessive heat and dust. unfortunately, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine.
it there is no high-pitched squeal when it starts up, the colorwheel needs replacing. the lamp won't light without it. the part is under $50, but installation is quite involved.
Hi Stella, There is a button on the projector called "Auto Image" Most people don't realize it's even there. Press it while you are seeing this problem and most likely the projector will figure out the image issue and all will be well. Note: this feature is nowhere in the menu(s)
