One of the input jacks is broken or missing off a diamond d5- 1200.1 amp that a buddy of mine is has that i want to buy. He says amp works otherwise. Is it possible to replace ghe input jack?

i believe you need a 1/4" unbalance plug for the amps input. Basically a guitar cord. If I am understanding the question. ? or if you want to know the actual "input jack",Maybe it is lacking or missing? than that would be a "1/4" unbalanced input jack". good luck, I hope this helps.

Some keyboards use the amp output sockets for headphone use.
You might need some adapters for your headphones.
If it fell in, you would see an empty hole. This would be unlikely because it is held on by two screws. If all fails, buy an amp with a headphone jack input. Plug the keyboard into the amp and use the amps jack.

Yes, the jack MAY actually be broken. It will need to be serviced. Run cables through the handle to avoid plugs from being yanked sideways and breaking the jacks.

If you're trying you connect the LINE OUTPUT RCA jacks to the PREAMP INPUT RCA jacks, but lost the jumpers that used to connect the two, you can simply buy the shortest RCA patch cables you can find, and plug them in Left IN to Left OUT, Right IN to Right OUT, etc. The jumpers look like the two installed between RCA jacks below.



Do this for as many jumpers that you are missing.

Well, lets start here first. I would like you to look at the input jacks for a/v3 and a/v4 and see if they are color coded RED-GREEN-BLUE. or if they are just YELLOW-RED&WHITE (audio). If they are RGB then just buy RGB cables at your local Best Buy. If any are just Yellow and Red & White then those are just regular composite video the same as the old vcr's. You can't make A/V jacks work like RGB component jacks.

In order to fix this problem, you will have to fully disassemble your laptop to get access to the motherboard & the power jack. If the power jack is not broken but only loose, you can re-solder it to the motherboard. Otherwise, you will need to buy a replacement power jack (usually less than US$ 10), de-solder the broken power jack, & then solder in the new one.
When this is done, re-assemble back your laptop.

check the channel mode switch on the amp it goes from 2 - 3 -4 make sure it's on 2 if your only using 2 audio jacks if that don't work check connections directly from that channel to speaker or jacks from player. jacks could be broken on inside if excessive pulling was made during installation if none of those are ur problem get the amp checked out

This may sound dumb, but are there any other inputs left on the amp? Most amps that i have worked with have a special set of inputs for high input. (by high input you mean speaker level right?) If those exist the obvious answer is to use those. They should be labeled, so just hook them up according to them. You may need a special adapter from the amp manufacturer. If you dont have any high level inputs or any not broken inputs left you have two options. You can either A: junk the amp or B: open it up and solder new connectors back on. (it sounds harder than it really is. There are four large pieces of metal to solder onto the board for a set of inputs)

You can buy Panel mount RCA (Phono) jacks at Radioshack, I think a 4 pack is less than 5 bucks, That should take care of your problem.
