The instructions say to download Rhapsody to put songs in it, but i use limewire for my ipod so i dont have to pay for music, and i cant seem to figure out how to put limewire songs in to my Sansa Clip.
can you help?
-Ruben
Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.

download alll latest software and firmware upgrade to your music player ok what formattt does the mp3s nee dto be in in manel may say 128 bit rate max or
This player is a little goofy. The normal method to synchronize is through Windows Media Player. But if you go for the Rhapsody subscription, you have to also sync the device through Rhapsody.
YOU DON'T YOU NEED A WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER SO THAT YOU CAN SAVE ALL OF YOUR SONGS THEN CLICK SYNC & DRAG THEM OVER TO YOUR LIST & ADD THEM TO THE SONGS YOU ALREADY HAVE ON YOUR SANSA CLIP...
Try downloading the Rhapsody Real player app, and import your Itunes file to the Rhapsody library. The files will be converted and will be able to be transferred to your mp3.
Sounds like you have a few different problems, thankfully its easy to resolve.
Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website, select FORMAT when prompted.

Best of Luck.
(this only works with non Rhapsody devices, annotated by an 'R' or the word Rhapsody on back)
it means that either your music files have been corrupted or that you only had a specific amount of plays for that song because it was only a trial, so if you redownload them and pay for them then they should, work. For the song difficulties with LimeWire, I am stumped on that, but if I figure it out, you'll be the first to know!
