My Samsung YP-S3 won't turn on and is stuck with a screen that reads Automatic Test F/W v1.11. I tried and I reseted multiple times ....it acts like it is trying to reboot but then ends up back on the same screen. I let the battery uncharge completely then charged it completely. I was able to look through the menus but it still would not power off and went back to the Automatic Test screen again...help !!!!!!

Hold Menu and A/B to turn it off.

In my case, firmware upgrade didn't help.

My YP-S3 froze ! what do i do?
Hold down the RESET hole at the back of the player until the unit shuts off.
It should work fine once turned back on.

Try pressing the menu and the record button together at the same time.This resets the yp-t9.I guess this should help.

plug youe mp3 into the back usb port other than the front one let it charge for bout 3 hours

stick a toothpick into the reset hole on the back on the unit. It will power off and now you can power back on.

Have you tried connecting it to your computer and attempting a Firmware re-load? There should have been a disc supplied which holds the software that operates your player. Firmware crashes are quite common on various machines, ans a re-load often sorts it. How old is the player? Worth checking the manufacturer's website to see if they've updated the Firmware.
