I recently was given a Henery Kloss Model 88 Radio. No sound comes from the speakers other than a faint sound. I cranked up the speakers to 99 but still no volume. There is a clicking noise as if the speakers work but the amplification isn't. Anyone know what to do?

Hi:
I don't know what to do, but if you are unable to get a reasonable fix, i would like to buy the remote from you. Let me know at [email protected].

speakers magnets not getting full power, speakers are shot, wiring from radio to speakers come loose or partially broken, radio not putting out enough power to speakers, controls of radio not set correctly
Look on ebay, craigslist, and check local junk yards, nka auto recycling centers, and you will find many plain jane stock GM radios for sale cheap. i would stay away from the high end units as then you will be on here asking for instructions on how to reset the anti-theft codes.
I have exactly the same problem but found two work arounds, either one that I am completely satisfied.
1. unplug and replug the AC.
2. I have a subwoofer, when I plug the subwoofer cable half way in, the sounds of the base speak goes back to normal (but not all the way in)
