Polaroid FLM-323B Television Logo
Posted on May 25, 2008

No signal All functions work with tv: dvd, receiver, and over the air trans. However, when you initially turn on the TV, it will crackle. The POLAROID logo comes up and then goes to blue and says no signal for the HDTV. Ideas??

When I turn on the television, the Polaroid name comes up and then the screen goes blue and no signal appears in the upper right hand corner. Ir also has a whine to it and you have to mute the sound until the picture comes on which is at least 15 minutes or more. It will start flashing and crackling and finally a picture appears but it still has the whine.

no signal shows up on the screen and loud whining then the tv starts blinking when the channel finally comes in.

. I changed from my component video inputs to the ones on the side of the TV and that works. Seems like the high quality video receiver, i.e. the control box, is the problem, per other complaint sites.

Warranty is only for 12 months, otherwise it is an expensive fix.

I can't get tv to send sound to sound system

Having browsed the user manual I wonder if you plugged in the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System while the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv was powered down via the optical cable .
Then powered up the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System first and then powered up the Polaroid FLM-2632 tv
Maybe the Polaroid FLM-2632 TV has to detect that the Sony BDV T57 Home Theatre System is connected and powered up when the Polaroid FLM-2632 powers up. To activate its digital audio out ????
The note part about only being available only under HDTV (cable/air) mode. Might be the cause of your hassle also ?

I have a lcd 37" polaroid tv / dvd combo I use to have it hooked up to Direct TV and now wanted to just get the free channels with an antenna. Eveytime I scan for channels it doesn't find any. Do u think...

go into the set up menu and set the signal input to AIR, the rescan for channels. Directv should have been going into a sat box then into a different input than the Ant jack so make sure your on the right input

Does the model Polaroid TTM-2401 TV have a digital tuner?

Your TV will need a HD converter because it doesn't have a digital tuner but only if you are receiving over the air signals. If you have a cable box or satellite receiver, then you do not need the converter HD box.
