You can trace this out without any service manual , to only keep the logic of tracing the voltage to the circuits. Now if the tumble is not working it is the motor not working, so check if the door switch is working and then the program controller.
If there is power to motor is humming check if this has a capacitor. If so check if faulty as the motor will not start.

My white knight tumble dryer wont start

Nothing works or drum fails to turn (tumble dryers)
Ensure that the power supply to the dryer is switched on, the timer is set to the desired drying time and the door is correctly closed. If you have a condenser model, also check that the bottle is empty and is fully pushed into the machine.

The first thing to establish when troubleshooting the clothes dryer is whether the dryer will start or not. If it won't, start by checking the outlet and the circuit breaker. Is the dryer plugged in or has it tripped the circuit breaker? If the breaker has been tripped, flip it back on and try the dryer again. The drum should turn without a problem.
If both plug and breaker are fine, you'll need to inspect the door switch as you continue to troubleshoot the tumble dryer. When you close the door on the dryer, a plastic peg should click and operate the switch which allows the dryer to work. The peg might be bent or broken, in which case it won't connect with the switch. You can try to straighten the peg, but if it's broken, you'll need to replace it. If the peg is fine, the switch has probably failed and will need to be replaced.

Dryer tumbles but no heat

Hi most likely either the heating element or the controller has faulted, what you need to do, is either obtain a service manual, Google for a Service manual, for your exact make and model, and follow the troubleshooting steps, to isolate and hopefully fix your issue, or call a professional and ask for a "Quote"

Dryer tumbles, no heat

Fist thing to check is if the manual reset on the heater box has tripped. That dryer can be serviced from the front. Also, there is a heater upgrade kit that can be purchased from Fisher Paykel Parts that has several updated parts in it for the top load electric dryers.

There are several things that can cause the reset to pop out. You may have a lint build up behind the shroud where the lint bucket fits.

This is a complicated appliance. You may wish to obtain a service manual for it.

I have a WhiteKnight CL43 tumble dryer. The drum will not turn without first being turned by hand before quickly closing the door. It will then continue until its time for the drum to reverse and it stops...

Not all that familiar with the Whiteknight dryer series but a dryer is a dryer and your problem sounds like it could be narrowed down to a few things. Based on your description of the problem and without knowing how much use that dryer has been subjected to, it sounds like you have a belt slipping ..or if it is configured like many other dryers..there may be a belt tensioner that came loose. In either case, the drive motor pulley spins andthe belt doesn't have enough tension or friction on the drum to rotate it. You might try cycling it without clothes to see if it spins up... if it does spin ( without assisting it) then once you add the weight of the clothes it doesn't have enough friction to spin the drum. Hope that helps !
