Code to reset the Nokia 2690
1.- Basic Reset or Soft Reset for nokia 2690 Mode
This option restores the .ini files from the ROM.
Does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) or applications from
a third party. Key Code *# 7780 # (click this combination of keys on the
keyboard in the mobile)
2.- Total Reset or Hard Reset for nokia 2690 Mode
This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data including the memory
card. Key Code *#7370# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard
in the mobile)
Important: To proceed to reset, the battery must be full and the
mobile device connected to the charger. If during the course of reset,
the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash
memory of the mobile device and stop function.

You can manually format your mobile. For that, go to the phone settings, select phone, after that select restore factory settings. Now press Ok. Now enter the default phone code which is 12345 or 00000 and press Ok. You have completed the format process. If this doesn't works then visit your nearest service center.

Remove the battery and the memory card from the phone,check for corrupt files on the memory card with a scan on your PC- card reader. Remove and format if necessary. Reset battery and open menu settings to open link to restore to factory settings- now type 12345. If this wont work then you must reinstall the software. check with Nokia care.

if 12345 code is not working may be some buddy change it.
u should backup ur data. n formate ur phone.

*#7780* code formate ur phone but it ask master code. so u go to following process:--

1.- switch off ur phone
2- again switch on ur phone by pressing these three keys together {green}+{star *}+{3}
3- wait for 5-10 sec ur phone will format
4- restore ur all date

i also tell by this ur phone's memory card data will not format so dont worry only ur phone memory will format..

after this ur master code will go to 12345
