We just bought this stereo only to discover that the cd player part doesn't work. Upon closer inspection we discovered that there is a gear and a bracket missing from the cd player part. Where can we find replacement parts for this system so we can fix it?

yes there are fuses. usually they are glass fuses near the power input on the board inside the unit. but you could also have fried or corrosion damaged other electronics if you have dropped water inside it
I still have my manual I discovered it yesterday. I unfortunetely don't have a place to host it, but if you email me at [email protected] with subject "manual request", I will email it too you.
I know how the get the back off cuz that's where I am right now.
Get a flathead screwdriver and wedge it between the black top half and the silver (or whatever color yours is)
just gently try to pry it free starting at the top by the head phone jack and working your way around
eventually it pops off
but I don't know where to go from here...
1.due to some short circuit in your receiver circuit has made the fuses blown 2.Replacing the fuses alone does not get solve. 3. Check the reciever power circuit 4. check whether output is being short circuited 5.Contact service centre
