I do this all the time; computers have a small round battery within usually on the motherboard area. You can reset your BIOS by taking it out, waiting a few minutes and reinstalling. I have reinstalled maybe 3 as they do last a long time.
The drivers are usually install by windows if Microsoft has it listed, but if its not you would have to go to the wifi's manufacturers website under support and download it and install it. This usually gets installed to you local hard drive.
