How do I change message tones on LG Shine?
You can do it with the shine. but you have to overwrite the current file... make backups before you do anything though. i have the tu720 shine and everything works fine for me.

Settings - tones - then change it to the tone you want but if you are trying to customise the msg tone you can not do that with the shine.

check out this tutorial on youtube it will allow you to set your own mp3's a ringtones and you should be able to do the same for message alerts.

halo i think you have to overite the message tone you wanted to have on the exixting ones.. i meant on the default tones.,,by that yu can use an mp3 file in yur message tone..
