1 Answer

One of my speaker jacks wont work, if i plug a speaker into it you can barley hear it when its turned up high, where the other one is really loud. it kind of makes a buzzing sound. its the jack not the speakers cause i tried each speaker in the other jack and they worked fine. what can i do to fix this?

My system has the same problem and what i would do is ask logitech's customer support what they can do to help or do what i did. I went to my PC's sound settings and changed the balance to most of the way up on the speaker that has the low volume. I dragged a shortcut to the desktop for easy access to it for when the volume is really high or low. If this doesnt help just go to logitech like i said before.

No sound at all when headphones are plugged in

Hi, I apologize in advance for not offering a solution. Have just trolled through the handbook (on-line) for anything that might offer a clue. It takes both high and low impedance units so that's cool. They say to use the phones to assist with speaker issues and there's nothing to suggest that any of the settings affect them. Depending on the impedance the volume levels can change a fair bit so I guess you've cranked it up to check. The fact that they turn off the speakers doesn't add a lot, it can often be a simple mechanical switch in the socket when the plug is inserted. Does the 'speaker off' indicator come on when you plug them in. The only other things I'd suggest is both try another set of phones regardless and the other is reset all the sound settings to factory and see if that has any affect. Else you likely have an issue with the phone interface circuitry.

I have a gateway lt20 headphone jack problem. i plug the wire into the headphone jack then into my stero, it has been working fine. then i plugged in it yesterday and the music i can barley hear, and...

The cable has a broken (internal) earth (aka shield or return) connection.
Replace the cable (it's not a wire - but a collection of insulated wires).

Creative Inspire 5200 system won't work

Hi. Check your speaker system with a different audio device like iPod or any MP3 Player using the same jacks. If the speaker system gives out sounds then nothing is wrong with it... if no sounds come out, then you know what I mean...

Try to replace the speaker of your sub-woofer... maybe that can fix it!

Tin like sound from small speakers only. No sound

switch on your speaker set in full volume unplug it from computer touch the plug , as you touch you can hear a sound ( loud hum sound) if the speaker is working. If okay then check the right jack, plug it into green color jack. you can try if your computer is okay use a headphone plug it into the jack in PC , if the computer is okay you may hear the sound.

Check to see if the speaker s are plugged into the GREEN jack on the back of the computer.

Ne w laptop wont let me hear through speakers

hi,

you can try and plug the speaker set into an old walkman or ipod headphone jack if you have it and see if they work, if they dont work with any other input they are defective so take them back.
