I wish you could see the pictures i get from my new camera i have messed with it and can't figure it out the pictures are blurred and look like they are moving the only picture that look good are out side , i wish i could send you some and you could maybe help me
I am having the same problem. I don't believe it is an issue with the settings, b/c I have had the camera for 8 months and it took great pictures. On the day of my niece's birthday party (half way through the party) the pictures began to turn out blurry regardless of the setting. The only pictures that turn out with little to no blur are those taken inside or out on the action setting (even when the subject is moving very slowly).

Sounds like a shutter speed issue. If you are experiencing this indoors use the flash. Review your blurry pics, is the shutter speed a 1/30th of a sec or less? Generally light conditions that force that slow of a shutter require flash or a tripod.

Things to check before you assume it is a mechanical issue-you can get vibration message if flash is disabled, be sure also that the macro mode is not enabled-this is very common on sony cameras to turn on by accident-flower button on camera will put in close up mode and you will get blur make sure no flower is present on lcd screen-if in macro press button on camera w/flower to turn off-also in menu you have continuous and monitor auto focus settings try changing one or the other and see what happens
