Hi, I bought the Fujifilm Finepix S2500HD a week back. I have noticed a strange problem with the LCD screen or is it the sensor?
In low light situations when you turn the camera on, the screen is not clear and there are disturbances in the form of blue dots across the LCD which appear like a screen refreshing phenomena. The same can be observed in the EVF also. Is there a problem with the sensor of the camera. The best way to notice this problem is by keeping your hand fully in front of the lens, the screen does not go jet black but you can see live blue dots across the screen. I have not noticed this issue with my Sony niether with the FZ35.
I went to the shop from where I purchased and checked out the second piece lying there, it also behaved similarly.
Could you please tell me if this is really a problem or is this phenomena existing in all S2500. I had checked S1500 of my friend it did not had this problem.

Same problem with mine - bought in February, (now May!) flash doesn't fire. Indicator light flashes orange which the manual says means "flash charging" but still no response despite waiting for that to complete.
Hope this isn't a bug in this model... Fujifilm, where are you?
I think there is a small button on the back of the camera near the bottom that turns the viewfinder off and on I think. It should be in the manual. It might have gotten bumped while in the bag.
