Question about Toshiba 52HM95 52" HDTV Projection Television

No pic tv turns on but green timer light keeps blinking and turns on and off the tv by its self no original remote

I have same problem, using original remote. If this is a defect on the unit? I bought it from BB in 2006 and got the 4 year psp, they are going to send someone on Friday 8th. Will let you know.

Alright guys...blew a bulb....fixed that. still didint work...found out it was ballast...replaced that. tv worked for a month..all the sudden hdmi input didint work id plug in my playstation and screen would turn green and say "hdmi color has been corrupted" im thinking wtf? so a week later it works fine then just turns off in middle of watching espn... comes back on an hour later...only to turn off again...it just turns black for ten seconds then just turns off and the red and green lights blink at intervals of one second....replaced a bulb..not that, same problems.......when the tv comes on for the ten minutes before it quits working the pic and sound are great i just dnt get it...is it shorting out? color wheel bad? a fan?

Had same promlem got word back from shop that it is the light engine. $750 to fix!!

The kid I'm thinking he is a kid..is an idiot...the Projection TV reboots itself 8 times before shutting itself down..indicated by led's on the front of TV...I personally changed the lamp...finding it was'nt that I from many forums will check the ballast.

Mine does that too, it is just the tv trying to fix itself, wait a few minutes and then try and turn the tv on again. Turning it off and on while this is happening may blow the bulb.

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

Wd-52628 flashing blinking light

Using your original remote, power on the tv, enter "menu 1,2,3, enter" to "Initialize" the "factory reset" once the window comes up choose to reset to default. That should fix the blinking green timer light.

Mitsubishi TV green flashing timer light after power outage.

You will need to cahnge the capacitors on the DM board, very common problem. The V21 V19 DM repair kit at the following link contains the replacement capacitors and detailed instructions. Its listed under the repair kits catagory at the following link.

Ur BD power board have a dead capitor.
Go to TV Repair World in the website.,buy ur tv name model kit.Repair it ur self, if U know how to do soldering.

WD 62725 Timer geen light keeps blinking

Here is how you fix the problem. Turn off the power to your TV for 10 seconds, then turn on. Next, take a paperclip and push in the reset button for 10 seconds, then release and wait until the light stops blinking - may take up to 5 minutes - be patient. Then turn on your TV as normal and your problem will be fixed.

It's in standby mode.
Do a reset and see what happens
While holding down the reset button on the remote
Press the power button on the tv
(The tv will turn itself off the back on)
Now release the reset button
It sounds like the lamp needs replaced....

Did you let the green light flash for about 70 seconds? It goes thru a self check when plugged in and takes a little time

There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

Mitsubishi WS73713 - Now working - Timer light flashing.

My Mitsubishi WS-73713 had the same blinking green timer light problem and would not turn on. I tried the reset button and unplugging power to no avail. I found that by simultaneously holding down the remote control "power" button and "volume" button for about 30 seconds the blinking light would go out and a solid green light would come on. Even though the solid green light came on the unit would still not power up. After doing this several times however the unit did finally power up in a normal mode and appears to be working again. It's worth trying before calling in for an expensive repair. PS - From here on out I'm sticking with SONY or Toshiba sets which have given be great service.
