I have a JVC model GZ-mg630au I lost the cable that runs from the camera to my computer.Any help?

Please check the camcorder with another PC so as to confirm the hardware in the camcorder. If this is not detected then there are errors in the camcorder main processing section which is not interfacing with the external port.
however if the camcorder works with another PC then it is possible that you PC has to be reinstalled with the OS and the drivers.

Check if there is any dew condensation to trigger a shut down. Use a dryer to warm up slightly and test.
If not the main board can be faulty as the CCD imager is not functioning.

I have lost the installation disks for my JVC GZ-MG130EK so I cant upload anything on to my new computer from the camera itself? What can I do?
