Turn on tv no picture no sound standby light starts green changes to flashing red

The number of red light flashes indicate where the fault lies...sony error codes are easy enough to find if you google the model with the number of flashes.hope this helps somewhat as you dont say how many blinks!!

ps.line output transformer failure rates are quite high on these sets,usually resulting in two red blinks-pause-two red blinks-pause etc...
