THE INSIDE SCREEN ON MY LG ENV3 IS BROKEN AND I NEED TO DELETE MY MESSAGES, HOW DO I DO IT? I NEED A WALK THROUGH

Clearing all txt messages (except locked)
with a closed phone from the external screen:
go to menu -> messaging
you should see{1. New txt
2. Inbox }
and so on
open phone
inside:
press right silver key below screen
press 4
press up
press ok

I have the same problem. I figured out how to delete text messages with the black screen though. My friend has an Env too, so i just looked at the button sequence on his and did it with mine. you need to go to your text message inbox on the outside screen. Then open the phone. There are two buttons just under the screen, one of the left and one on the right. Press the left button once. Then press the #4 button. Then press OK. That deletes whatever message you had selected. Just keep pressing the left button, then #4, then OK and it will keep deleting messages. Just be sure to wait 2 or 3 seconds between deleting each one as it takes a second to delete them.

Open the phone.
