Raypak Free Hydraulic Lift Gate Delivery - No L... Logo

I have a five year old Raypak 207A on my 500 gal spa. When I turn the unit on, the display shows: PV 1, then CFH, then SPK, then the burner ignites, then CFH again, then it displays the flame icon and temp for 20-30 seconds, then it cuts off. Then the whole cycle repeats. Then it shows FAN. I have cleaned baskets and changed out the filter.

CFH means "Call For Heat", and SPK is "Spark". It sounds like you are running out of gas.Propane tanks need to have 30% in the tank for a heater to run correctly,and after they are filled you must bleed the air out of the line.If you have Natural gas,the gas line may be too small to supply enough gas to keep it running. NOTE...gas pressure MUST be checked with the heater running.

Why do I get CFH but then no SPK?

CFH = Call For Heat
SPK = Ignitor is Sparking - attempting to ignite raw fuel

In a lot of cases, Pressure Switch opens up, CFH , is cancelled and therefor no ignition sequence.
try cleaning filter really good. If cartridge, may be time for an overnight soak.

Raypak 2100 fault

It sounds like your ignitor may be out. Everything else is good in the safety loop and the heater wants to fire. The last step in the process is the ignition of the main burner. Are you hearing a ticking sound? If not the spark is not being produced.

When we tried to light the heater the CFH shows, then I get a SPK which stays on for aroound 1 minute, then I get a LO. The heater never lites.

The CFH is a Call For Heat.
The SPK tells you that it is creating a spark for ignition.
The LO tells me that you are on propane.
The fact that it doesnt light tells me that either the ignitor is not sparking, or that there is no gas, or an incorrect gas supply.
If this unit is installed with flexible gas line, replace this with rigid black pipe or a larger flex line.
