I recently removed the dmb board from my samsung dlp tv, as it was buzzing, and the picture kept fading out, but the buzzing problem improved but it keeps shutting out, but comes back. This goes on and on. I was told to replace the light engine and I did as it had the dmb chip. I was also told it could also be the digital board. do you think I should replace this part? or is the light engine I replaced 2 weeks ago faulty? I About a samsung dlp tv digital board. Could it be causing my tv to shut off and start up again? I already replaced the light engine module. Seems when the tv becomes warm after several hours of use .This may be unrelated, but when I tried to program my remote control is got progressively worse, thank you for any help.

Here's the test. With the TV on shine a flashlight on the screen. If you can see a dim picture the backlight circuits are bad. If you cannot see a picture the T-Con board is bad. You can get parts from here: TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy
that's a failure about to happen in your video control circuit board..you feeling like you want to dig into this yourself, or does this have a warranty
Not real easy and not a cheap part---have to remove and when replace move and center picture on the screen with the set on--considering replacement cost better to buy a replacement light engine which comes with the DMD.
Ur colors wheel is dead,must call tech.for this is very difficult to take out,and replaced have no tv tech. experience.Best to call tv shop service,to replaced this colors wheel,and have warrenty on it.

that is what was happening with mine. Tech came out and we are not waiting for a new DMB board. Glad it's under the extended warranty we bought in 2005 (which runs out next month) or it would have cost $500.00 parts and labor.
