Could you send me the best set up starting with 1 for setting up our new XR 8600 Powered mixer in our church. We have 3 bose loudspeakers on each speaker output. Should those Bose be set for 100 watts...
Sorry, but you have a problem. The amp is rated to 4 ohms per side. Your speakers would have to be 16 ohm type to allow 3 per side in parallel. The Bose ratings are usually consumer type ratings and they would have to be set to 200 watts each (twice the rating that the amp can produce per side) to be safe connected to that amp. Your speakers are likely 8 ohm so you could parallel ONLY two per side OR if they are 4 ohm, then you would have to series them. You could series two or three per side safely for the amp. You don't tell us what model Bose speakers you have. Anyway, one has to first meet the specs of the amp and the speakers to avoid damage. It is likely the amp is too BIG for the speakers. For the setup of the mixer portion of this problem I want you to view videos on YouTube. Search for "mixer setup". Don't worry that they are different mixers than yours... there is enough commonality and the functions are nearly the same for MOST analog mixers. Recommendation: forget about two of the speakers... keep them as spares and run low volume to avoid blowing the speakers. I can't imagine any competent audio equipment supplier configuring your system this way.

Probably every electrical supply store in Europe sells tranformers for American (110V) gear.

What's a Bose 9? You mean 901? Before you try to use it get the manual from Bose.com and wrap your head around it's requirement for exclusive use of any amplifier.

No. You may think you're doing it with the first solution, but the EQ curves introduced by the Bose Active EQ are extremely steep at the extremes. One could just as easily advise that the RIAA phono EQ curve (look it up) could be simulated through an external EQ, but why would you want to try? The best you would come up with is a ballpark match. Don't we really strive for accuracy?

Bose 901's employ 9 full-range, 4"-diameter drivers in each cabinet, hence there are no tweeters, no woofers and no internal crossovers. You can probably imagine how much EQ it would take to make a full-range driver, with its inherent limited voice coil travel and steep roll-off at the extremes, respond as if it was, say a 12-inch woofer, or a tiny dome super-tweeter.

Every series of Bose 901 that came out had its own specific matched series of Active EQ to compensate electronically for the natural limitations of the individual drivers. I imagine there were a lot of major simlarities from one to the next and that you would not be too far off the mark to mix a Series-IV EQ, for example, with a Series-V speaker pair, but I really doubt you're going to dial in the same curves with a manually adjusted equalizer without some specs as a guide.

Try to find the correct Active EQ on eBay. You’ll be much happier with the results.

Manual for casio cfx 200
My husband's father gave him some old watches. He had them fixed. I was looking for the manual and found it at veitk.com/misc/cfx200. If that does not work the personal email address is [email protected]. He no longer fixes these watches so the email address may no longer exist. He has a scanned copy of the manual there.
