Yes, easy way would be through Connectify. It turns almost any Windows 7 OS PC into a virtual wifi router. The software is free. Basically, it will share whatever internet connection your netbook is getting via a virtual wifi hotspot that your other wireless devices can connect to.

I it possible to uninstal Linux OS and instal Windows XP to the Aspire One ?

Hi,
Yes you can install XP on that netbook.
Now because there is no optical drive in that netbook you will need an external CD/DVD drive connected to the netbook and an XP install CD.

You can get the Windows drivers from Acer here >>>>>>>

Just look under the netbook for the correct model number, select netbook, then Acer One and click on your model to download the drivers.

Re: the Asus Eee PC 900 Notebook with a Linux operating system and am unable to connect. It will detect my wireless router (Cradlepoint MBR1000 using Verizon USB720). I upgraded to the Verizon USB 760...

what version of linux are you using? If it's one that came preinstalled with the laptop I suggest looking at Ubuntu netbook edition, *very* capable OS, if that can't handle it nothing will.

Wireless-B BroadBandRouter BEFW11S4 driversfor mac os x &win xp

Just connect the computer wired on the computer your mac and no need to run the disc because it will not read it because the cd for linksys is good only for windows. You may OPEN safarri or IE browser, then try type on the address bar 192.168.1.1 - nothing for username and password is admin.

from there you may configure the router on what type of internet connection you have from you ISP, don't forget to save settings...

thank you

DNS error when connecting PS3 to internet

you could try getting a wifi adapter and creating an access point, you can connect that way if your ps3 has wifi I have a laptop with windows XP Pro and have been trying that my desktop PC with Vista Home can see it.
MY Components:
-Desktop PC with Vista Home (Main PC, connected to Internet with Ethernet to a Linksys Wireless Router B and G).
-Get internet thru cable TV (broadband),from this cable modem plugs to router and from router to PC Vista(desktop)
-Linksys Wireless G/B Router
-G-Card for my Laptop Windows XP Pro and
-Playstation 3 capable of sharing info and use printer

At the moment all of them have internet w different IP's (000.000.0.001, 000.000.0.002,etc.). What I want to achieve is that I can use the Printer that is connected via USB to my PC Vista (desktop) and share files. Right now the only thing been able to do is that my PC Vista see my Laptop but Can't find my PC on my laptop. Anybody, Help?
-When I turn On my media sharing in my PS3, my internet on Laptop loses it while PS3 search and find, then, because laptop lost wireless, the PS3 looses the laptop and I get wireless back. I knowis a stupid setting but tired of workin back n forth. Thanks

Wireless capabilities

Do you remember installing a wireless adpater on the pc that you upgraded to win xp? if not, then you really need to get a wireless receiver. Or you can also check you network connections under control panel, see if you have a wireless network connection under LAN or highspeed internet, if not you really need to get a wireless receiver for your computer.
