You can add music to the iPad by directly downloading from the iTunes app or by importing your music into iTunes on a computer. Once your music is imported/downloaded into iTunes on a computer, you then just need to sync the music by connecting your iPad to a computer.
continue downloading your mp3 / mp4 files with limewire (frostwire)..its okay...but limewire will never (and neither will any other non apple software) comply with itunes....so lets import the files (top left hand corner) using itunes (import from the folder you have download to) if its in xyz music that is where we will import from...once you have all the music onto itunes click & hold music library of itunes...(top left is itunes /bottom is your ipod if connected)...drag down to music of ipod let it go...once you do this the conversion takes place depending on how many songs u put in 1 - 3mins tops.............have fun dont forget to share mp3 files on limewire/frostwire
download the latest version of itunes from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then install the program.
Copy your music over to itunes either by copying your CD's or importing your music that you already have on your computer, you can do this by going to File>add folder to library or add file to library and go to where your music is and import. This will convert your music to be played in itunes and to be recognised by your ipod. Once you have done this, create a playlist of music that you want on your ipod. Go to File>new playlist. and rename the playlist to a name more suitable. Then select which songs you want on your ipod by righ-clicking the song and send to playlist, select the playlist that you just created. Once you have your playlist and are happy that you have all of the songs that you want, plug your ipod into the computer, itunes will pick the ipod up and load the necessary drivers for it. You will notice a little picture of your ipod on the left hand side of the screen, click on it then click on and update your ipod with your playlist.
are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I hope this helps
your using itunes and trying to export your library that is the problem it has metatag encoding which at this time is not supported by serato and says it all over there sites forum. There are ways to do it but none of which i know that are legal or condone. Your best bet is to not use itunes as many djs acknowlodge that since you cant use itunes to dj with, even in your bedroom as stated in there terms of service that it is not worth using itunes. I use other types of music collections on like such as mp3.com and rhapsody or dancerecords.com to download all my music to dj with.
Apple late Thursday posted iTunes Repair Tool for Vista 1.0, a software update that fixes iTunes issues reported by new Windows Vista users. According to widespreadreports, music purchased from the iTunes Store could not be played in iTunes on the new Microsoft operating system released this week. Users reported that they received a message saying their computer was not authorized to play the purchased tracks. “The iTunes Repair Tool for Vista 1.0 will repair permissions for important files required by iTunes to play your iTunes Store purchases,” Apple states in the brief release notes.
