I need to install the drivers for my player. I can't do any playlist modifications otherwise.

Have you install the Sansa driver on your PC? If not yet,you need to have it installed in PC.
Otherwise you may have defective connection cable on it.

Sansa m230 won't be read

I have the fix for this:
if you are using an older unregistered copy of WINDOWS, then your problem is that you need to have a newer copy of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER operating on your system. If you have recently reformatted and lost your newer version of WM Player , then you have lost the drivers necessary to read your SANDISK player and your OS will not show the older MP3 files on your mp3 player in Windows Explorer . You need to download and install a newer version of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER because it is the part of your operating system that contains the newer drivers that your SANDISK requires.
if you are using linux , you will need to find the drivers elsewhere online.

Sandisk m230 sansa, has no power

your going to need the driver install disk you can buy it at a kmart or wallmart they go for about $50 the only way you can get a driver back ~SP1Grim
