I play on xbox live via wireless setup to a Belkin 3950 router. My comp runs window 7. Whenever i try to play on my xbox it tells me i need to switch my NAT type to open. I can't figure out were my NAT setting is.

Try hitting the reset on the back of the router. Normally need a pen to hit and hold down the little button. Although if everything is working whats the point? If you previously had setup your router and have a password on it might be blocking access to the assistant setup.
Access your router's setup page by going to 192.168.2.1. Verify the wireless settings set in your router. Take note of the wireless network name or SSID, the type of wireless security enabled and the security key. Configure these wireless settings in your XBOX
If you call microsoft, and tell them that your NAT is strict, they will tell you specific ports you will need to forward. (For Free). If you arent sure how to forward ports, call up your routers manuafturer, or send me another message. I have forwarded my ports as well.
I suggest setting this up with a WPA encryption rather than WEP encryption. This should get ya setup without a problem. Also, I've noticed live to be a bit buggy since Christmas.
