plug the charger in to the phone and outlet. remove the battery for about ten seconds and the phione should turn on. put the battery back in and let the phone charge. this might work.
I have the KP501, too. Well, as I know, there is no difference between KP500 and KP501...it's the same OS...My Cookie doesn't want to turn on. When I try to turn on the phone it shows just the LG logo, more not. A few seconds later it turns automatically off and than 3 seconds later it turns on again....I don't know how is this happening...searching for help!!! please help me.... :S
Hook it to power supply and let it sit to charge for about 1 hour, then try. If it does not work, make sure hold isn't on. If it doesn't work then Return it.
Sadly it does happen to these phones more often then it should...
The best you can do is either get a new battery from your local dealer(or online) or just clean the contacts really good with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol.
If the phone receives a charge that isn't the rated from it's normal battery it freaks out and says that you're using a poor battery... It's really stupid.
I think your ipod is dead. This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.
Try the reset. I think it's either select + menu for 10 seconds or select + play for 10 seconds. Otherwise it's a bad battery, which is a cheap part off of ebay.
