It can be the timer processor is fault and is not accepting any other program than one that is set into. remove plug and remove control board , clean and reset with tight connections, check the processor section, solder the IC and associated sections, now set back and set the clock and try once again after cancelling - pressing stop for few seconds.
If the fault stays it is problems in the timer control PCB,but it might change with prolonged resetting ,if there was dirt inthe PCB.

I have somehow managed to put my hotpoint aquarius into test mode

To get out of it you need to press start, the display should go daft. Press start again and the display should settle down. Now press the on/off button and the start button at the same time and hold them down for a few seconds until the display shows d-end or d-off.

My hotpoint qasher/dryer aquarinus super silent wd640 1400 spin just says test on displays and does not let me wash :(

The only advice I can give is to turn the appliance off and remove the plug from the power socket for at least one minute then plug it back in and try it again. These machines have 3 phase motors and the heat sink on the module retains an electric charge for some time after the appliance has been switched off so be mindful if you decide to venture into the inside of the cabinet.

F13 error during drying cycle

Hi, that indicates that either the fan motor is not working/ blocked or the dryer thermistor (thermostatic sensor) is playing up. Of course, the pcb reads the sensor so it could also be that causing the error.

Check to see if any water remains in the machine . SOME MACHINES IF They DO NOT DRAIN OUT ALL THE WATER WILL CONTINUE TO run until all water is drained. Also check for suds in machine if machine senses suds it will try to re rinse the clothes. If your machine has a filter at the bottom clean it out .
