The problem is not from your device it is a problem due to a malfunction from your mobile network. As long as the sender didnt send it multiple times then if it appears on your device multiple times it is from the mobile company. Simply call them and make an official complaint. normally it happens when theres some issues with the carrier or provider. e.g. the sender of the message was getting message sending failed and they tried to resend the message until they got the message sent. if the sender was getting message failed for x times then you will receive the messages repeatedly.
