When i connect my nokia 6681 with laptop via bluetooh ,at the time of installation of drivers ,one driver doesn't install i,e "blue tooth peripheral device " is missing... hw can i over come this problem?

Restart the laptop and check the bios. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled.
For Fn-F5 to power on and off the wireless connections on a ThinkPad, you need the Lenovo Power Management Driver installed.

Just a couple of things to check.

You have to buy a bluetooth adapter. It is a USB device that usually looks like a thumb drive. Most of them are plug and play. All you have to do is connect it via the USB and viola! you have bluetooth capability on your Netbook. If in case it isn't plug and play, you just need to install the driver that comes with it. The problem is you Netbook does not have a CD drive. You have to download the driver via the support site of the manufacturer of the Bluetooth adapter. You just need to make sure that the one you are trying to download is compatible with your operating system.

Sometimes you have to tell the phone what device to connect to, it doesnt do it automatically until you set a profile. If you have already done this, then make sure you have the right software and drivers for the blue tooth, sometimes it will only work with the manufacturers software, even if you have the drivers installed.

Just install Laptop updater software as this problem seems to like that you are using the lower version of bluetooth driver. just go through the below link and download the updater. and after that connect the laptop to internet it will automatically installed all drivers.

You shuld first chek out your blue tooth setting.
If the problem is not fixed, then try to re-install the driver with following care:
1. Uninstall old driver if any.
2. After un-installation re-boot your system
3. Install the driver.

either reinstall the drivers for your cable or google search for them. Occasionally your cable will be defective and you'll need to get a new one.

may b port of the handset is damaged....try via another cable on ur handset....try using headfones...it will give u prompt if anything goes wrong.
