My usb will not connect with my computer it keeps asking for a cd

Please remove the usb cable from the computer and printer and reconnect again and check it that is it printing properly. If it not working remove the printer from the computer then uninstall of the printer software and reinstall from the cd, when it ask to connect printer then only connect the printer after that it will print properly.

ok to start over....

unplug the usb cable... have the printer disconnected from the computer...open the printers and faxes under control panel in ur computer.... delete all the icons related to ur printer... once that is done, insert the installation cd which u got while u purchased the printer.... go on with the on screen instructions and keep clicking on next.... and while u install the software, the installation screen itself will ask u to connect the printer... at that time plug in the usb cable and make sure that the printer is turned on... and again go on with the on screen instructions until u hit finish... thats it!!!

reinstall it in your pc with your cd and connect usb cable only when
setup ask you to

got to advanced setup...change the language..else...what u need to do just disconnect the usb cable..put the cd in...go to computers>>right click on the cd icon>>explore>>utill>>ccc>>uninstall l2...then restart the computer..dnt connect the usb..reinstall the printer...whenever it will ask u to put in the usb cable do that...best of luck..

You would have got a Drivers CD with your Phillips USB phone. Place the drivers CD in your CD/DVD rom drive and when the CD window opens you will get a drivers folder or else install or setup file. double click on it the driver will start installing on your PC. In each window click next tab and atlast click at the finish tab. your usb driver phone will be installed with the normal settings. Atlast, if the installation wizard asks you to start the computer please restart it so as to ensure that your USB phone works accordingly. Then whenever you like to connect your USB phone to the PC just connect the USB cable of the phone to the USB port and then in your phone if it prompts any connectivity options select the connect PC option.

1. Disconnect modem from computer by taking out the usb lead from computer
2. insert modem cd in cd/dvd drive and run install
3. Install the driver from the cd
4. follow directions onscreen the restart computer if necessary
5. plug modem back into usb port
6. now when windows detects it it will find the correct drivers

yes same was happening to me. just press the start botton down unplugg usb & current cable keep holding the start botton replugg usb and currentcable keep holding untill you will hear a sound more or less 2 minutes. than the computer will ask you for new installing your programm you do so and here we go it works as new!!

connect the printer to the computer & put the printer cd into the cd rom. click on install option, software will start installing then it will ask to ON your printer and connect the USB cord. ON the printer and rest will start installing automatically. Then keep clicking NEXT and then FINISH.Now your printer is ready to use.

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.
 

you actually don;t really need the CD. you only need the cable to connect to a pc via USB. or you can connect using Bluetooth if your computer supports bluetooth

if your connecting via USB. be sure to set some settings first

go to <Phone Settings
>Connectivity
> USB Connection
> select MASS STORAGE

when you plug your phone. your phone should act like a regular mass storage device. Take note that only the External Memory is accessbile. (NOT the INTERNAL Phone Memory) so be sure to have a Memory card in your phone.


so it will be helpfull to set the default storage of pictures/files/etc to the external memory
